Now this is something I recently discovered whiles reading my Bible. It is not philosophically nor Theologically correct but hey, I’m not arguing the facts.
This is a page from Job 3:10. Emphasis on the section in red.
Job 3:1 After this, Job opened his mouth and cursed the day of his birth.
2 He said: 3 “May the day of my birth perish, and the night it was said, ‘A boy is born!’
4 That day—may it turn to darkness; may God above not care about it; may no light shine upon it.
5 May darkness and deep shadow [a] claim it once more; may a cloud settle over it; may blackness overwhelm its light.
Job 3:6 That night—may thick darkness seize it; may it not be included among the days of the year nor be entered in any of the months.
7 May that night be barren; may no shout of joy be heard in it.
8 May those who curse days [b] curse that day, those who are ready to rouse Leviathan.
9 May its morning stars become dark; may it wait for daylight in vain and not see the first rays of dawn, 10 for it did not shut the doors of the womb on me
to hide trouble from my eyes.
When I read that I started thinking, which day is not part of the year. Then after doing a little analysis I realised that all the months of the year are either 30 or 31 days long except February, which is 28 or 29 at best, it never gets to 30.
So I conclude, Job’s Birthday must have been February 30, cause it is missing. You know, God does answer the prayers of the righteous, so this must be one heck of an answered prayer.
Have a great ya’ll
This definately feels like one. I have been home for quite some time now however, I haven’t done this much.
As I sit here it is almost 6am and I have been up all night again. I need to be shot. A programmers life can be upside down at times. I wish I knew a better way around all this drudggery.
However, it is not all bad. Just this past week in the land of Java, I managed to take a wack at creating some Windows Vista Like Features into my applications. I tell you, one must give credit to the coders at Microsoft and those that work for them. These new UIs are something more than eye candy. And to try implementing, that is when one begins to appreciate them. Atleast, one down, several more to go. I be sure to make a post about it when it is good and ready to share.
I was thinking of getting employed as a Security Guard when complete school. At least then I can stay up all night without worrying about the next day, and do all the coding I need to with those ackward hours. I’ll be sure to think this through before making a leap. Would want my parents hard earned investment into Aerospace to go to waste.
Till later blog world.
Finally I’m home, good redince to school (FOR NOW). I’m glad to be back home and online again, although just for a short while this week, since my net connection is down. But no fears, things will be fixed soon so I can post some more stuff here.
I got lots more code to post on my website, several files have been tweaked an updated. Will give comments on those and much more when I can blog again. Till then I’ll keep it simple.
To all my 360 friends, I have been keeping track of your posts by mobile browsing, via the ever popular Opera Mini. Just that it is way too difficult to write comprehensive messages when using my phone to browse, so atleast I’m quite informed as to what has been happening around.
Top blogger on my friends list = Markie. (Who else, or my other friends are either in school or just don’t love the net as much). This will change soon I hope.
Some say I don’t have a life, but I say life is what you make it with God’s help. He places us where we are so we can impact lives as HE sees fit. So atleast, this is my contribution to the world around me. Okay enough talking, I’ve almost run out of time.
I’ll BE BACK!!!!!!
